No worries.  I told you I would share my notes and I finally had a chance to do so.  Hope it helps!  I already did a 3 year term as trustee.  I was part of the group that got the city to fix our detention basin.  Maybe that is one reason why I keep asking about keeping up on the maintenance of it.  But mostly it is because of the mosquitos breeding down there and my allergy to them.  Please email the mayor and get some bids.  I would be happy to meet with them at my house for you guys and show them pictures I have taken.  I am just not going down there again!

This issue is being worked on and we have someone that might be willing to do it!

That is great news!  We just hired The lawn Doctor to spray for mosquitos and they did their first application this morning.  YAY!!!

Also, did you see the city truck that came through with the mosquito fogger Monday night?  I saw a post about it on the Wentzville 411 Facebook page about this.  a few people stated that the city will spray but only if requested.  If this info. is true, then we can just make regular requests as a subdivision or by a few homeowners and they will continue to spray the neighborhood.  This should make a big difference for most of us, except for those of us to back to the detention basin.  We need a bit more spraying!  Our wedding reception is scheduled for September 19th in our back yard, since our original venue burned down last month.    We are basically a landscaping construction zone over here and never gonna finish if we cannot spend a lot more time working outside.  We are pushing forward as planned, but may end up postponing due to Covid19 concerns.  

I did not see/hear the truck, but at least one resident posted their unhappiness with the neighborhood being sprayed!
